And somehow I see the hope. Did he jump or did he fall? Two parallel timelines. One side of the tape moves forward while the other moves in reverse. Both are correct. The windows move past him. This is a tall building. Godspeed. He sees the people inside, watching their fears online. A weakness in the knees. A tingle in the groin. A flutter in the heart. An anticipation of something. He sees the unmade beds, the half drunk cups of coffee in the passing windows. And like in the beginning, it slows, so one's neck does not break. Godspeed.
